As Chief Technology Officer of 10th Magnitude, Ira Bell – and the extended Solution Architecture team – will work to inspire and guide customers to embrace the power of Azure and Artificial Intelligence.
With a passion for customer success, Ira enjoys solving complex problems in team driven collaborative environments. Ira is a regular speaker at industry, channel, and partner events.
Ira has spent over 20 years in Information Technology focusing on modernizing companies through transformative technologies. Ira has been a co-founder of several startups, including a prominent SaaS HR platform and an Inc. 500, award-winning cloud-based consultancy. Ira spends his downtime in his hometown of Saint Petersburg and is a graduate of the College of Central Florida.
Michael Bennett is the Chief Financial Officer at 10th Magnitude. In this role, Michael is responsible for overseeing all financial operations and strategy, as well as establishing key operating metrics and processes.
Michael has more than 25 years of experience in financial, professional development and operational roles, with 18 of those years serving in CFO positions. Prior to joining 10th Magnitude, he served in leadership roles at Avant, Numeric Group, ClearGauge, Dowdall/Bennett and Arthur Andersen.
He earned a BBA and an MBA from the University of Iowa. He sits on the board of directors for the National Student Leadership Foundation, the executive committee of CFO Chicago and the advisory board of two startup companies.
Lori Borg, formerly CEO and co-founder of Northwest Cadence, serves as the VP of Marketing for 10th Magnitude. When 10th Magnitude acquired Northwest Cadence in January 2018, Lori was given the privilege of building innovative and impactful ways to evangelize the message of the fully transformed agile enterprise to the marketplace. Her passion for customer impact, team development, and organizational productivity aligned beautifully with the opportunity to help 10th Magnitude empower customers to start their Digital Innovation journeys.
Lori graduated with a BA from PLU and a MBA from SPU. She sits on Microsoft’s Advisory Board and other non-profit boards in the Seattle area.
Steven Borg is the VP of Innovation at 10th Magnitude. With ideation and futuristic as his strengths, he brings innovative and strategic practices to the table. As the former co-Founder and Strategist at Northwest Cadence, Steve has been heavily involved in and influential to the Microsoft community. As a Microsoft ALM MVP since product inception in 2005, Steven speaks regularly at Software Development and Visual Studio conferences, and has authored Microsoft courseware and white papers on Team Foundation Server, regulatory compliance in software development, Scrum, and Lean.
He has helped hundreds of organizations, both large and small, adopt Visual Studio ALM tools, improving their software development process, reducing costs, increasing quality and speeding delivery dates. His expertise lies in bringing successful lean and agile adoption to companies currently using traditional project management techniques to manage software development projects.
Alex Brown is the Founder and CEO of 10th Magnitude. He is responsible for setting the organization’s vision and strategy and ensuring that the culture is collaborative, client-focused and innovation driven.
Recognized as an industry thought leader, Alex founded 10th Magnitude in 2010 to help clients unleash the power of the cloud to drive innovation in their markets. A 30-year industry veteran, Alex has seen the impact that the cloud has on clients – making them more nimble, innovative and customer-focused.
Alex graduated with a BA from Oberlin College and an MBA from Yale University. He sits on Microsoft’s Global Azure Advisory Committee and the Board of the xChange Network, as well as several nonprofit boards.
As Vice President of People at 10th Magnitude, Mike Denton builds the team and culture, attracts and retains top talent and creates a great experience for potential and existing employees. He partners with company leaders to align cultural sustainability and talent management practices with strategic objectives.
Prior to joining 10th Magnitude, Mike had more than 15 years of experience serving in leadership roles at EZLinks Golf, Lextech Global Services and Geneca where he identified, attracted and hired quality talent at all levels. While serving as the VP of Talent and Culture at Geneca, Mike spearheaded the redesign of a careers webpage that earned second place in a global competition.
Chris Lewis is the Chief Operations Officer at 10th Magnitude where he oversees all aspects of service delivery. Leveraging more than 20 years of consulting leadership experience, Chris manages the delivery team to achieve successful client outcomes.
Prior to joining 10th Magnitude, Chris worked in consulting leadership roles at Point B, Avanade and Accenture. He joined Avanade as employee #126 and helped grow the business to 4000 employees. While at Point B Chicago, he helped the organization achieve a Crain’s Best Places to Work in 2016 and 2017.
A graduate of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, Chris is also known as “Coach Chris” due to his role as coach for multiple youth sports.
Ryan McDonald is the Director of Managed Services at 10th Magnitude. He is responsible for the vision, product strategy, and roadmap for Managed Services.
Ryan joined 10th Magnitude in 2016 as a Cloud Solution Architect, delivering cloud migration and modernization work for global clients. In 2017, he began working with company stakeholders to spearhead the launch of the new Managed Services division.
Prior to joining 10th Magnitude, Ryan spent 20 years in information technology leadership positions with start-up and high-growth organizations. Most recently, as CIO at eLynx Technologies, he was responsible for overseeing information technology and information security. Ryan holds several IT designations with certifications from Microsoft and Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC)².
As Vice President of Market Development at 10th Magnitude, Jason Rook is responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that provide new and expanded revenue opportunities for the company, as well as incremental and innovative value to customers.
Jason has more than 20 years of experience in the software industry leading high performing consulting, channel and sales teams. Prior to joining 10th Magnitude, he spent 15 years serving in leadership roles at Microsoft.
A graduate of Ohio University, Jason is a technologist at heart with a passion for building customer solutions through strategic partnerships. He is a member of The Channel Company’s xChange Advisory Board and a regular speaker at industry and channel events.
Mark Smith is the Vice President of Sales at 10th Magnitude. He is responsible for establishing the sales and customer go-to-market strategy, financial targets and key performance indicators to achieve company growth objectives.
With over 20 years of technology experience, Mark is passionate about enabling customers to obtain the greatest return from their technology solution investment. Prior to joining 10th Magnitude, he served in leadership roles at LiveTiles, Slalom Consulting and EMC Corporation.
A published author and graduate of RMIT University, Mark also has the unique distinction of being on the leadership teams of four companies that have won global Microsoft awards for customer and technology excellence.
